President Karol Nawrocki has convened a National Security Council meeting for 3 November 2026, starting at 15:00. The announced agenda includes current security issues and the construction of a permanent US military base in Poland (Polska).

The meeting will be closed. Including the topic on the agenda does not itself approve a location, construction timetable or funding for the base: such conclusions require separate decisions and confirmed arrangements.

The National Security Council advises the president on the state's internal and external security. Discussion at a meeting should be distinguished from entering into investment and international commitments.
