In 2027, Poland (Polska) has 14 statutory public holidays. Four fall on Sundays: Easter on 28 March, Pentecost on 16 May, the Assumption on 15 August and the second day of Christmas on 26 December. A Sunday holiday does not in itself create another day off.

Weekday holidays are New Year's Day on 1 January, Epiphany on 6 January, Easter Monday on 29 March, Constitution Day on 3 May, Corpus Christi on 27 May, All Saints' Day on 1 November, Independence Day on 11 November and Christmas Eve on 24 December. Labour Day on 1 May and Christmas Day on 25 December fall on Saturdays.

For an employee working a standard five-day week, Saturday holidays reduce the required working time: another day off is scheduled within the relevant reference period. Therefore, 27 December cannot be declared a day off for everyone in advance. The standard full-year calculation gives 251 working days and 114 days off; shift patterns require a separate calculation.

When planning leave, consider the Fridays of 28 May and 12 November: one day of leave can connect a Thursday holiday with the weekend. Leave must be agreed with the employer, and additional days off should be checked against the organisation's schedule.
