An investigation in Radzyń Podlaski (Radzyń Podlaski) concerned a gambling establishment operating without the required authorisation. A 40-year-old citizen of Ukraine (Ukraina) was detained in connection with the case, after which the Border Guard examined her situation.
The unit in Sławatycze (Sławatycze) issued an obligation-to-return decision. The woman was escorted to the state border and handed over to the Ukrainian authorities. The report states that she received a five-year ban on entering the Schengen Area.
A return decision and an investigation into gambling offences are separate procedures. An individual decision does not mean that the same consequences automatically apply to everyone working at a similar establishment.
