On 24 October, border guards at the crossing in Budomierz (Budomierz) inspected a Regal motor yacht being transported on a trailer from Poland (Polska) to Ukraine (Ukraina). A 44-year-old man was driving.
Checks revealed discrepancies in the vessel's identification markings and year of manufacture. The yacht, worth approximately 200 thousand złoty, was held while its origin and the legality of its movement were investigated.
The driver was interviewed as a witness. This procedural status must not be replaced by a claim that he has been found guilty of an offence. Further checks primarily concern the yacht's documentation and identification.
