In 2026, All Saints' Day falls on Sunday, November 1st. A proposal was discussed to change the rules for compensating holidays that fall on a Sunday, but the discussion itself does not give workers a new day off.
For a normal five-day work week, Monday, November 2nd does not become a non-working day just because it is a Sunday holiday. Work on holidays and shift schedules are regulated separately, so an individual calendar should be checked with the employer.
