The IBE Institute for Educational Research has proposed strengthening the practical part of the school course “Education for Security” (EdB). This is about preparing secondary school students to deal with emergencies, not introducing a new existing obligation.
Areas discussed include AED first aid, orientation, evacuation, 72-hour kit preparation and multi-hazard response. The material also mentions training with training equipment, drones and marksmanship training.
Representatives of teachers and municipalities draw attention to the cost of equipment, training of specialists and the need for cooperation with services. The described proposals cannot be considered a single, already introduced class schedule for each school: the conditions for implementation require a separate decision.
