Court decision following a prosecution request
According to a Wrocław prosecution statement dated 29 October 2026, a court remanded a 49-year-old suspect for two months. The case concerns an attack on a train manager during a ticket inspection at Wrocław Główny on 26 October.
Investigators allege that the passenger punched the employee to force him to abandon an official duty. The victim suffered facial and dental injuries. Earlier reports describing an unknown cause did not include this subsequent prosecution account.
The court issued its decision on 28 October. Remand safeguards the proceedings and does not replace a verdict. Prosecutors cited concern about a further offence against life, health or public safety.
