Separate deadlines for each stage of travel
From 10 November 2026, Ryanair airport check-in and bag drop will close 60 minutes before scheduled departure, replacing the previous 40-minute cutoff. The date and deadline appear in the airline’s announcement and conditions of carriage.
The change particularly affects passengers checking bags. It does not mean that online check-in or arrival at the boarding gate can wait until that moment: separate requirements apply to those stages.
The conditions warn that missing check-in may result in denied boarding without a refund. Before travelling, check your booking and airline notifications, and allow for travel time and queues separately from the final bag-drop deadline.
