Check individual opening hours
On 1 November 2026, All Saints’ Day, ordinary shops in Poland are subject to the holiday trading ban. The holiday falls on a Sunday this year. Extended opening hours before the holiday no longer apply today.
The Labour Inspectorate lists exceptions including petrol stations, pharmacies and trade conducted personally by an individual proprietor on their own account. Being a franchise does not by itself permit staff to work during the ban.
2 November is All Souls’ Day but is not a nationwide public holiday. The date itself does not impose the holiday trading ban. Check the particular store’s hours: permission to trade does not mean that a retailer must open.
